Recently, US Dept of Labor has released the Q3 FY 2022 Data for H1B LCAs and PERM filings. Similar to past, we have cleaned up and loaded all of the Q3 data to our H1BGrader’s LCA and PERM Database that already has millions of these datapoints. Current article covers some of the highlights and top 20 employers for H1B and PERM until Q3 FY 2022.

Employers filed 300K H1B LCAs in Q3 FY 2023
During FY 2021, combine LCA filings for Q1, Q2, and Q3 stood at 404,459 (137,058+77,300+190,101 ). Now, that number, compared to this year for FY 2022, it is up by 40.3% and stands at 567,505 for Q1 + Q2 + Q3 (112,409+155,108+299,988).
The total increase in filings indicate a strong demand for H1B workers in the US. This is inline with the record number of H1B registrations that were filed this year for FY 2023
Below are the total counts of LCAs (includes H1B, H1B1 & E3) that were filed with DOL so far this fiscal year 2022.

Total 36K PERM Labor Certs filed in Q3 FY 2022
If we look at the total Green Card related PERM Labor Certification filings for 2021 until Q3, they were 84,633. Now, for FY 2022, until Q3, they stand at 102,134. Compared to last year, they are up by 20.7%. This also clearly indicates, they could not really find qualified US workers to fill the jobs and need foreign workers.
Below are the total Labor Certifications filed in the DOL PERM Program for Green Card processing so far for the fiscal year until Q3 FY 2022.
